I wanted the opposite.
If you look after a community, you already know the struggle. Finding products you feel good about sharing is hard. Much of what arrives with a "partner cut" is junk.
You can feel confident sharing Time Is Luck because it genuinely helps people grow and take action on their most important goals in life.
I built it first for myself, after years of reading about procrastination and resistance. The discovery that changed how I thought about it was the basal ganglia: the part of the brain that decides whether a plan gets approved for action. Luca Dellanna's research on expected emotional outcome is the work behind that. A lot of what we call agency, free will, and discipline is this gate blocking our actions before we ever feel like we "decided."
The method in the app is aimed at one thing: tipping that gate toward action. Giving you leverage on the tasks you already want to do, and still find yourself struggling to start.
So I tried to turn the theory into a practice. A tool with enough complexity to be effective, and simple enough that I would use it when I was struggling to push through my own boundaries.
